Clean-Up Crew - All Facilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: clean-up of mill waste and scrap material; sweep floors and shovel dust and waste material; blow down buildings, including roof areas; identify critical equipment and protect it from water damage when washing down; wash down buildings inside and out with plant-service water systems and high-pressure mobile systems; perform general site and grounds maintenance to include mowing and weed removal; and paint buildings and equipment.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work safely and identify hazards in many environments. Depending on the work location, they may be required to safely and efficiently operate a forklift, man lift, light truck with trailer, skid steer, bucket loader, and power washer. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. Transportation will be provided from the dispatch location.
The ideal candidate will be a team player and be able to work with other team members to complete tasks safely. He/she should be able to take direction and complete tasks as assigned. A successful candidate will be dependable, available to work rotating shifts, and eager to learn in our high-performance team environment. He/she must also be adaptable and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Louisiana-based employees must be willing and able to travel to all central Louisiana manufacturing locations.
