For over half a century, RoyOMartin-Colfax Treating Company has operated as one of the most diversified treating plants in the country, specializing in poles and piling. Our products are available treated with creosote, pentachlorophenol, chromated copper arsenate (CCA), CCA-emulsion treatment (ET), and creosote coal tar solutions. Different retention levels are available depending upon customers’ individual requirements. Having always met or exceeded EPA requirements, RoyOMartin-Colfax Treating has become known as one of the most environmentally sound plants in the industry.

By virtue of our extensive timber holdings (approximately 580,000 acres), modern manufacturing facilities and diversity of treatment alternatives, RoyOMartin-Colfax Treating is uniquely positioned to offer long-term contracts to the utility industry. This provides a great benefit to our customers. A guaranteed supply that meets consistent quality requirements is a primary focus; however, there are several other benefits. Long-term contracts allow us to anticipate your needs and stock inventories consistent with your usage patterns so we can quickly respond to your requirements.

RoyOMartin-Colfax Treating is located in Pineville, the heart of Louisiana. Distribution of the finished product is accomplished by truck, rail, and barge on the Red River, providing prompt access to local or international markets.
